Our key charity partner for 2015

The Monarch Partnership, London’s leading independent utility consultancy, has partnered
with Macmillan Cancer Support as part of its commitment to be a good corporate citizen, as
well as a well-run business.

This initiative forms part of Monarch Partnership’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility
commitments to being a valued local business, and empowering our staff to develop through
participation and helping local initiatives.

As part of this relationship, initially agreed for a year, The Monarch Partnership will commit
to running a mix of company-wide fund-raising events (such as participating in Macmillan’s
annual “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event in September) alongside smaller team
initiatives that are chosen by the participants.

Peter Dosanjh, Managing Director for The Monarch partnership said;

“We believe very strongly in delivering a positive social impact as a result of our business, as
well as a commercial benefit – and by encouraging our staff to volunteer and raise funds for
those in need or less fortunate than ourselves we all benefit from working with more rounded
and inspired colleagues and members of society.

Cancer has an enormous impact on our society and on individuals: and at current rates, half of
our people will receive a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime. Macmillan Cancer Support do
amazing work with people who need their help and we are proud to be able to do our bit to
add to the facilities provided for cancer patients in South London.”
